Who I am & why I am running for County judge-executive

I am a husband to Sheila Pyles Bryant, a father to five children, and a grandfather to 19 beautiful grandchildren!

I have spent my life in this community, and serving as your County Judge Executive has been one of the greatest honors of my life. From the beginning, my goal has been simple: to do what is best for our county and the people who call it home.

This role hasn’t always been easy. Governing requires tough conversations, differing viewpoints, and difficult decisions. I care deeply about this county, and at times that passion has shown itself strongly. I won’t pretend I don’t feel things deeply when it comes to protecting our community and standing up for what I believe is right. Everything I have done has been rooted in my desire to see this county move forward and thrive. Working under constant obstruction from a group of magistrates determined to oppose my leadership has made effective governance one of the greatest challenges of my term.

Throughout my term, I’ve gained valuable experience and perspective. I’ve seen firsthand how important cooperation, communication, and respect are in local government. As I look ahead, my focus is on leading with steadiness, working collaboratively, and keeping the best interests of our county at the center of every decision.

I am running again because I believe in this community. I believe in its people, its potential, and its future. With your support, I will continue to serve with a steady heart, honest intentions, and an unwavering commitment to our county.
